Many old org.au, asn.au and net.au domains are expiring on or around 1 July 2004. As a large number of these domains do not currently have a registrar assigned, you may not be able to renew your domain until you transfer it to a registrar.
auDA is currently attempting to contact registrants of these names but as the names are very old the contact information is not up-to-date in many cases.
If you administer an old org.au, asn.au or net.au domain it is in your interest to ensure that you have chosen a registrar and renewed prior to the expiry date (which, for several thousand domains, is 1 July 2004).

Our renewal prices are $39 for .org.au domains and $59 for asn.au domains. .au domain renewals are always for a fixed 2-year license term.
Note that in order to transfer an old .au name you will need the domain password. If the email address listed as the contact for the domain is still current, you can automatically recover the password at admin.auda.org.au.
If the email address is no longer current, please contact us and we can assist you with recovering the password manually.
